Totally team Gretchen. Tamra is a word that I shouldn't say but do sometimes - but only when I am describing her. And yes, the Gretchen/Jeff thing - huge age difference - but she seems so sincerely nice that I just figure I don't have to understand it. Tamra is jealous central.

Whoa your title struck a nerve.

Kristin-

I wanted to respond to your question on my blog, but couldn't find an email address for ya. Hope you don't mind me popping on to your blog!

AZ is similar to Utah in that it is full of Mormons. No helping that. After years of living in Seattle, I tend to see the charm in living around members, whereas many {ahem- Mother-in-law!} sneer at the 'bubble' effect that they see.

J grew up in Tempe. We still love the little areas around Mill Ave and the college scene, though with the appearance of our three children, we've outgrown it. Scottsdale can be quite nice, but very pricey, same with some of the nicer North Phoenix areas. Gilbert is by far, the most 'lds' populated, though it has a more 'prestigious' rep than say, Mesa.

I won't say where we live, but I can say this: After YEARS of moving {29 times before I was 19 years old!} I've learned that you find what you look for. No matter where you end up, look for the good. Find people similar to you. This state, while not my beloved Washington, has many wonderful things about it. Seek them out, and I'm sure you will end up flourishing wherever you end up settling.

Good luck, and if you do end up in AZ, shoot me an email. We could hang out. :)

KT,
I am also team Gretchen, I do think there are some holes in her story but her and Jeff look sincere! But I have always hated that B Tamra and will probably never get over it...well a rolex might help..as long as her skeezy son didn't touch it!! I just read on Tam-B's blog that she hopes her and Gretch can be friends one day...pssshhh! When we are back in UT can we have a club?
